Not much is known about this soon-to-be gem of horror, but Austin Hinderliter's upcoming horror flick is sure to be busting at the waistline with fright!
Admittingly I do not know too much about what this film is going to be about... but when Hinderliter pitched it to me, the words "small town", "pregnant" and "murder" stuck out in my mind.... very eerie.
THE NEW FAMILY.... circa 1987.

When the immensely talented (and quite hysterical) Damian Maffei (Christmas with the Dead, The House That Cried Blood) contacted me and told me he was going to be adapting one of his favorite author and good friend, Brian Keene's, novel into a movie, he asked if Sadist Art Designs would be interested in doing the poster.
Of course, I jumped at the opportunity. Having read the script, penned by Ted Rypel, I instantly realized this would be an instant horror classic.
So here it is... straight outta 1986.

Sadist Art Designs was honored to be a part of Fangoria's competition in which three artists competed to come up with the key-art for Jeff Monahan's new macabre horror love story,"Corpsing". I was able to watch the movie and pull screen grabs if necessary. Instead, I decided to go with a very "Chopping Mall"-esque iconic vibe--something that would evoke a morbid curiosity to the viewer.

Ah, my good people from overseas deliver yet another great short... this time involving some wicked supernatural scares by way of Quija Board. I absolutely love working with Bloody Cuts and am constantly amazed and utterly impressed with each new project.

England's Gordon Smith contacted me to do a commissioned piece for his upcoming film, STAGNANT. Having read the script, I was super excited to take on this poster to bring his vision of a deformed and maniacal bride that kills stags, or "bachelors" to life.

Being that I design most of my art while listening to 80s soundtracks, I thought it was only fair if I did a promo piece for UKs masterminds of 80s synth-pop, Futurecop!
Their music literally evokes a certain cinematic experience that seems to lift me away to foreign lands of the unimaginable. It's as if you're escaping from life's drudgery... all while flying on a winged-unicorn!
Check out one of my favorite songs by them. Then check out ALL of their stuff!
